Oh wow... Blackrose! Your drawing is so beautiful! The way you handled the texture on the crocodile"so back is brilliant! You are very bold. the color pallet the is so dreamy too! Can't wait to look this story up and learn more.

thanks. I used the moss green (?) color, but it was too bright so i coated everything with white watercolor to soften/lighten it :3

Some more.. Where the wild things are by Maurice Sendak (of course) and the fish is from Flotsam by David Weisner. Flotsam has amazing illustrations. Both are great stories. I especially liked In the Night Kitchen by Sendak. David Weisner has amazing illustrations. Your recreation was great. Flotsam, correct me if I'm wrong, was the one with the camera that washed up and the illustrations were the pictures taken while under water. It bugged me that the film was still good even after being in salt water, I'm crazy over little things like that.
