Not a ton of pacific northwest US representative here (I'm lonely here in Oregon!) ... I'm really impressed by how global this drawing community is. My horizons have been expanded just by reading all your wonderful international posts Echidnaq, Vancouver is not do far away despite the border. Had a great time, many moons ago, mountain biking in the Euguene area, and visiting Portland too. Hi Dommers! I lived in London for a short time. Remember seeing the beautiful fall colours, which we don't tend to get here with our mild climate. It's a small world, n'est-ce pas?

Dommers: They don't call London "The Forest City" for no reason! Sorry, I forgot how to quote! I'm a forum newbie. You'll have come to the west coast to see our trees, esp. our rainforest. I love all the walking/hiking trails.

Comox is lovely - haven't been there for years. Remember taking a friend from Toronto to hug the old growth trees at Cathedral Grove, further south down the Island. Think there about 6-7 people and we barely surrounded the tree with outstretched arms.

I live in Seven Mile, Ohio, a small village near Hamilton between Cincinnati and Dayton. I enjoy the friendships on Draw Quest, as well as the creative drawings. Attachments:

Oooh~ you're from singapore! i went there before with my parents, then took a bus to go to johor malaysia... Your country is nice, I even got a free burger from a local resident... I was behind her at McDonald's, she ordered a McRice Burger meal... And during that time the McRice was on a "buy 1 take 1" promo but she doesn't want an extra burger... Hehe, so she told the cashier to just give that to me. She asked me if it's okay for me to accept the burger (All good intentions, don't worry), I said it's fine and so she informed the cashier... And tadaaa~ free rice burger. (I'm dying to know if a rice burger is exactly what you'd think it was!?) Much of my family is in Chicago (*wave* elginkiwi!) and I spent many years in Indianapolis, IN (hi Kendall!!) which I adore and miss and visit as often as possible. However my true home is Ireland, and I split my time between there and Charlotte, NC in the U.S.

South Jersey United States. I call it secret South Jersey because it is a beautiful area with rolling fields and rivers etc. not what everyone identifies "NewJersey" with. There is a reason why it is the "Garden State" . Hurray for tomatoes, cranberries, peaches, and more! Our farm is 170 acres on a large creek, 300 yr old farmhouse, pretty cool but our area is getting overrun with city people who have noticed that South Jersey is ideal,,,a few hours from three major cities, less than an hour to mountains, oceans or big rivers and lakes, While getting to live within the beauty of the country....... I have said too much. Alas, also just two hours away from North Jersey.......... It is so cool that there are so many Questers from so many far away places! It is wonderful!!!!

I'm in Central California. About 2 hours from San Fransico and 2 hours from Reno, Nevada. I'm ashamed of the fact that I have seen very little of California when there is so much to see and do here.
