I draw when I have a moment of relaxing and no other commitment request by friends. Since drawing and painting is a hobby of mine with a rough uninstructed skill , it takes me more time to complete a project. I really enjoy the drawings on DrawQuest , and the virtual friends made since joining this group. I am far from being a computer wiz so i am just learning about Twitter & Tumbler. Must of my communication I do on the computer are done on my Gmail account. Hmmm - I have free time now so I better get drawing.

Drawing (creating of any kind) is relaxing for me, so I try to draw after work. On my days off, I check DQ more often. I tend to be a night owl, so I often find myself drawing or looking at other DQers' works of art late in the day when the rest of the world is asleep. It's quieter and there is more stillness in the world at that time.

I draw after my day of work at the office, and when all has been done at home and my kid sleeping so it is usually 22h when I start.. Week night drawings take me between 1 or 2 hours to make. I draw and no longer read in bed. Comes the week-end, there I will relax in the morning with a coffee and my rocking chair, doing more 2-3 hours drawings (about 3-4 cups of coffee). I admire other people 's drawings with my breakfast everyday, and before sleeping. Also during my lunch beaks when I can. I love seeing other people's work! Funny, I realize that I never sit at a table to draw. And true, I did stop playing other games on iPad too. (Ok, except ForeverLost which beats everything for me). A question: is there a link between insomnia and doing late iPad work looking at the screen? Are many people affected by this? I read something a few weeks ago about the link between looking at screens in the evening causing insomnia and I found this link to the article: www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=bright-screens-could-delay-bedtime. I've turned down my screen brightness now which helps. Regarding the original question of "When do you Draw Quest?" I like to check out the quest in the morning so I have some time to plan what to do. I'm quite slow with my drawings and a couple have 'timed out' on me.

Quests shouldn't be timing out on you, at least not really any more, do you mind explaining this further so we can find a solution to this encase others are having a similar issue?

I don't think it's happened since the update. I just got spooked by the Playback not uploading when I took a long time to complete my drawing. Since then, I've spent more time thinking about what I wanted to do before starting the quest. I don't really think there's any problem with the app. Thanks for checking, though!

I will be more careful indeed.
