So my mom died very unexpectedly 2 years ago and she would have been 66 on September 7. She loved elephants and collected them for many years. Whenever I see someone draw an elephant, no matter how rudimentary it is, it brings a smile to my face and I have to star it. Anyhow, I thought it would be nice to open DQ and see lots of elephants, so if it suits you, can you please draw an elephant in your quest on Sept. 7? Thanks.
P.S. It's bad luck to depict elephants with their trunks down. That said, draw them however you want. I want to see all your styles shine through.

Hope you enjoyed seeing all the elephants. This is from a favourite book about an elephant that couldn't fit in a house . . . Well, yes, it did get in, but let's just say, it got very crowded!

You guys are too awesome. This really made my day, thank you. There have been so many amazing, funny, original, endearing, and elephantastic drawings that I don't even think I'd have the time to list each of you in my thank you. I appreciate all of you participating and helping make me smile today. If I didn't star your drawing, please let me know. I don't want to miss a single one.
