(DAM) Art Kat posted this in her blog: damartkat.blogspot.com/2014/01/dq-hope-spread-word.htmlIt would be great if they could keep the servers running, even if very little would be done with updates (kind of a bummer, as I would have loved to have the side quest feature from the phone in the iPad). I feel I should be saying this as one of the people who had been helping fellow DQers transition to SC. I will remain a two tool person. I have no reason not to be as I have never hidden the fact I was using both tools and questing in both as well. But I know some of you are not completely at ease with SC, so I'm happy to see there may be a way to remedy this. I would personally like to implore anyone who can pay even .99 in gold coins or a brush or color set to do so. This letter is very specific about this helping out keep the servers running. We said we would do whatever necessary to help DQ. This is our chance to prove it.

Yes, I will donate the 4.99$ for me and my boy. I plan to be on SC and DQ, whenever DQ lets me in. I have many error messages these days. I hope this can be fixed. My feed is cut short and It has been hard to go see someone profile without getting an error. MY ramp is done on SC, sufficiently to be able to draw there. And I admit that I like the tool. But I love DQ also so I will try both now!

I have been on SC for a while and still I am not sure if I really like it. After scouting around all the tools the process seems more like photo editing to me or really a blend of both worlds. Which is well done in the technical sense. But for me by the time I get to the tool I would like to use I have lost my spark. Focusing on using the tools has been an awkward process for me. Most likely because I am not a trained educated real artist. I think D Q allowed for creativity without a lot of thought with the technical issues. More like drawing or painting in a more natural way but still instant outcome without waiting for layers to dry and a lot of expense with products. DQ I a much more relaxing experience. But for truly serious artist that can create beautiful art in any environment I think SC is the place to be. I will keep trying to experiment on SC.

I'm using both DQ and SC too. My heart and my creativity are with DQ. But the people are nice at SC too.

I intend on staying on both DQ and sc. I was just expressing how I felt about the creation process of both. I would never just give up. Oh no I will eventually learn to be more comfortable with SC. Just a little whining in the process.

I felt exactly as you did at first on SC, Smithcarol but you don't have to use all the tools. Just use the ones like on DQ and no layers. That's what I've tried to do. I like it better that way. You might too.
