This just in, thanks to UFO_Pilot ;D
Tired of fighting your fingertip and stylus to get those details?
(iPad's) Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom (enable)
Then just double-tap on the screen with 3 fingers and slide up to zoom-in and down to zoom-out.
While zoomed in, use 3 fingers to slide around to pan the view.
Enjoy and don't forget to thank the UFOs!

Thank you for posting this. I read UFO_pilot's message on this and spent a frustrating few minutes drawing random lines all over my drawing trying to zoom by pinching! ;D

Yay! Thank you! That was one feature I loved about Draw Cast. Now hopefully I can zoom with my iPad settings as well. : )

Good to know!! I was wondering how many painstaking hours it must have taken for some questers to get such incredible minute detail. Now I know they had it easy! Haha ;D

While my drawings are awkward and stumbly, they will now be awkward and stumbly in greater detail! Thanks ufo_pilot!

Just posted my first drawing using the zoom... gotta say, it's weird and there's definitely a learning curve to the '3 buttons and slide' to zoom... but I really really like the results. Thanks UFO Pilot for finding this and thanks LeoSketchy for showing it to me

Thanks UFO & leo! Going to need lots of practice though! I keep mixing it up with another app that uses 2 fingers for some functions.

While my drawings are awkward and stumbly, they will now be awkward and stumbly in greater detail! Thanks ufo_pilot! Lol. I feel the same way. It will take some getting used to.

Yeah, I thought this tip was awesome when I first heard it... but I couldn't get used to how it behaves 1. When you're zoomed in, you don't have access to the toolbar (colors, back button(!), etc) 2. The auto-scroll feature can be wild @megainfante: Thank you so much, I love your work too! I'll try!

I discovered today that you can maneuver around the screen in zoom mode by navigating with three fingers. There is still a twitchy aspect about it. Still slides on me all the time and I also wind up leaving unintentional dots everywhere.

Awesome tip thanks! In DQ originally I had three crashes when I tried to zoom by accident. Fortunately that bugs been patched now but I still find myself trying to zoom out of a force of habit sometimes.
