Hi elginkiwijonop123, unfortunately my last comment was in reply to DaniRegald on general sluggishness.. I've experienced stuck upload once, but it was ok after I retreied uploading again with good Internet connection.. The drawing was sent correctly to DQ gallery, though there's an image of my drawing still in middle of uploading that stayed in my app. I had to reinstall the app to clear that up.

Hmmm, whenever DQ doesn't seem to be responding properly, I'll close it in the multitask/background tray (double tap home button) and it will manage to properly load all the pages it had problems with before when I open it again. I've never turned to logging in/out before, mainly because I'm too lazy , but also because for a lot of newer apps, the common 'fix' is usually a full restart until devs work out the kinks.

Logged in again because it asked me to do so, only to find most of the activity list had vanished. Most of yesterday's drawings off the radar. So if I've missed starring you yesterday I'm sorry. It takes so long to go through the profiles to star. The activity list is far from perfect and something maybe Draw Quest could modify at the next update. Although I love Draw Quest and everyone's work, there are other things in life and it's not always possible to view and draw every day. I would like to see the unviewed ones saved somewhere until I'd time to look at them So pleased to have the forum to read other people's views, great idea, thank you for setting it up and all the work you've put into it, appreciate it.

The same happened to me. Luckily I have been taking screenshots of my own pics but having to look for people on my followers or followed list takes a lot longer than using the activity list. We need a search facility please! Also I'm finding I can't star some people. Does this mean they've closed their account. I remember that artist and verisimiltude were a couple that were affected, not sure who the others were. Anyone else had this problem?

When you press the star, it doesn't acknowledge that you liked the drawing right? I used to have this problem before the update! I'd keep tapping the star button in frustration and realized that I'd ended up liking and unliking the image a few times once the app finally started responding and felt like such a dolt lol!

Question; I saw that some people have lost all their submissions before a certain date- what causes this? If I recall correctly, alzheimer had many more pictures before... Is it when you hit a certain submission amount? Or when updates occur? Thanks.

DrawQuest currently only shows the most recent 50 drawings in your gallery, which is unfortunate. The DQ staff have stated before, though, that all your pictures are saved, they just aren't shown right now. Hopefully they'll fix that in a future update.

That's actually quite unnerving. Thanks!

Yes Baitian it is a pity to lose other member's excellent drawings and I do hope we can get them back at some future date as promised I admire your work and particularly liked your last drawing in shades of blue. Not everything is shown in the activity list, if you have the time, it always pays to look at the profile of someone's work you like But this can be a time consuming exercise as many of us have discovered.

On twitter the DQ staff said that they definitely have all the drawings saved and nothing is lost. They were really adamant that they would fix this in a future update, so I'm confident that everybody's drawings are safe. In the meantime, I recommend setting DQ to email you once somebody stars your drawing... then saving all those emails you get sent. The emails link you directly to fullscreen high res copies of your drawings online, which are visible even if you're profile no longer shows them.

Sometimes I am unable to star drawings. It turns yellow when I tap it and immediately goes back to unscarred. Anyone else?

Hi sophanne. Yes the same thing was happening to me the other day. I think it was a memory overloads type thing. When I went back to the pictures to star them later on they were, in fact, already starred. I think you just have to click it once and trust that it has worked.

The biggest bug is that I can't comment on drawings. I can live with the crashes, and very slow response times. But some posts are so great one star is not enough.

Id love to star some multiple times. This is why quite a few of us are on twitter. You can post yours or others pics (right from DQ) and make a short comment. You indicated that your twitter was for work. Maybe set up one dedicated to DQ and join in the fun

This evening it is just impossible to draw. For every line I have to wait 1 minute to get anything on screen

Still takes a long time to load anyone's profile, including mine. I'm talking minutes here! So it's hard to view someone's drawings in order to star them. Crashes when I try to reload. Or it takes me back to the main DQ page. Lines are jerky due to the time lag. That's partly why drawing takes so long. Frustrating. I tried using DQ at another location to see if it was a wifi problem, but still the same problems, sigh. I hope these bugs get fixed.

iflowerbed2: sounds like your cache (local memory usage) is getting too big... try to sign out and login again to DQ. Note that after doing this, you'll only see the latest 50 drawings, until DQ update the app to give us the ability to look at our older drawings.
