In this thread we say farewell to images that were being worked on DQ but never made it to be shared online for one reason or another... I was drawing this image and took a break to eat... came back to a bunch of notification on my iPad, unlocked my iPad and DQ opened with my image in progress... and poof. No more. (Echidna Cave: with Echidna Mobile, Armor, Info station... yea the car will be more angular with spikes ;( )

I lost my drawing today (astronaut sloth), due to a sudden logout. Luckily it was still in an early stage, with just a bit of the background and half of the Earth done. In this case, the second attempt was more successful, too.

Hagathacrusty, you are too! You are all amazing, which is clearly why everyone sends the shout outs! Have had so much fun on this app that my son found and I have taken over . Thanks again to K3LLI for creating this forum! There have been a few times where I had searched for a Facebook page to see if someone had started a group. This works great though!

Leosketchy you are truly an inspiration, not only for your brilliant ideas and drawing but your dogged determination not to be beaten by the vagaries of the technology. An absolutely triumphant outcome and I agree with others that the second cave was even better than the first.

Rather fittingly the image I regretted losing most was the 'what's in the dark?' Image which has Indy looking at a huge gold head statue. It crashed on my when I tried to pinch to zoom and I had to start again.... Finished the pic but it didn't make me smile as much as the original had

Lost a lovely "looking pool" image to a power down on my ipad the other night when working on "whats in the cave" it was going to be what was in a pool of water in a well...but it turned out to be lights out. LOL. Not sure I have the heart after the two hours I worked on getting the return image just right. I thought I had time to finish...but no. Silly me for pressing my luck.

summerbryz, heartbreaking! It sounds lovely though and hope you'll give it another try sometime. I do relate to what kercal said above though, "Finished the pic but it didn't make me smile as much as the original had" --sometimes the second go around doesn't have the spark that the first one did. Loss of momentum perhaps? But then again, Leosketchy has proven that a second go can be even better.
