I have seen some on Twitter, but wondering if anybody would care to share their other projects here? I have been working on a painting for my brothers 30th birthday. It's a portrait of him dressed in Tudor era clothes. I am not quite done, but would love your feedback. I have you all to thank, the Drawquest community has really sparked my love of drawing/ painting once again. Keep in mind its been over a decade since I have done any painting, so I am rusty. I think it looks great! One or so more layer of texture and it'll be perfect!
I'm not doing anything on the side at the moment. I lost all my art supplies so I have to purchase all new ones before I can do a project. When that time comes I'll be sure to post it here! Mind you I'm more or a sculptor then a painter! =]

Will it be a surprise for your brother, Hagathacrusty? I'm sure he'll love it.
I agree. A bit more texture or line on the figure would help him stand out more from the background. Good luck.
I don't have anything specific other than an art travel journal that I started in a mixed media class a while back. The pages are done separately before reassembling into the journal. There are a lot if unfinished paintings lining my walls - no storage!

I have started doing charcoal last winter when I enlisted into a local community art class. Before, I was doing mostly black ink - that was until I found DQ. (Welcome colours!) Here is one of my favourite piece (11x14in) I find the face of this actor very challenging to draw, so I have started a close-up one. Still on going... - ok, I am also a Daryl fan .
